Can all vehicles be eligible for a NB1 - NB2 category change?
No, there are only certain vehicles that can be changed between NB1 and NB2
Do I also need a LO1 code to move between the two categories?
Yes, when changing between any vehicle category a LO1 is required.
Do I need new tyres and rims?
Generally no as these are factory options. However they would be checked to confirm.
Will this change my towing capacity (GCM)?
This depends on your vehicle specifications and the factory options.
Do I need a different license?
Yes, NB1 is operated on a Car License and NB2 is operated on a Heavy Vehilce License.
Are there different rules for the licensing?
Yes, there are different rules relating to Speed, Alcohol allowance and Vehicle inspections depending on your state.
