Which vehicles are eligible for an LS11 GVM Upgrade?
The LS11 code can be applied on all vehicles that fall under the light vehicle standards (under 4.5t) provided they are QLD registered.
How much can I increase my GVM by?
In Queensland, under the LS11 code you can achieve a maximum of 10% GVM upgrade above OEM specification. The limiting factor on receiving the full 10% is usually down to the axle ratings of your vehicle.
Do I need new tyres and rims?
Only if current load and speed ratings are insufficient for the higher axle loadings.
Will this increase my towing capacity (GCM)?
No, the LS11 code will not increase your GCM, your GCM will stay at the OEM rating.
Will it affect my warranty?
We encourage you to check your specific vehicle’s warranty and act accordingly.
